Every piece of our jewelry collection is made from high quality stainless steel with a 2.5 micron thick layer of 18k gold. Gold plated stainless steel is waterproof, tarnish-free, nickel-free, lead-free & hypoallergenic but in some cases, the PH value of the skin can have a negative effect on the jewelry and can cause discoloration. We all have a different PH value and because of that the durability may differ from person to person.
